Welcome to Plamily – a family organizer app designed to help families manage their lives through shared calendars, tasks, shopping lists and budget. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

• Name
• Email address
• Social login provider (Google, Apple, etc.)

b. Family Member Data

You can add other family members manually. For these members, we may store:

• Names (e.g. children, partners, grandparents)
• Relationship type
• Whether they are linked to a user account (online) or not (offline)

c. Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage data to improve our app, including:

• Device type and OS
• App version
• Crash reports
• Interactions with key features (e.g. creating tasks, calendar events)

d. Calendar Access

With your permission, Plamily can import and export events from:

• Your device’s local calendar
• Your connected Google Calendar account or other third-party calendars accounts

This allows you to view and manage personal or shared events inside the app. We only access this information with your explicit consent, and it is used solely to help you sync and organize your schedule.

• Create and manage your account

• Send optional notifications and reminders
• Improve the app performance and experience

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
We may use third-party services (e.g. Firebase, AWS) to securely store and process data. These providers are required to follow strict data protection rules.

4. Children's Privacy

Plamily is designed to support families, including children.

Children can be added in two ways:

• Offline profiles – parents or guardians may manually enter the child’s name to organize tasks, events, and responsibilities. These profiles do not create real user accounts and have no online access.
• Linked accounts – if a child has their own device and is old enough to use the app, they may create or be invited to a registered user account, provided this is done with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent. All child accounts should be created or used with adult supervision where appropriate.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS for data transmission
• Encrypted databases
• Authentication via trusted providers (Google, Apple)
• Secure Secret Session–based authentication mechanism to ensure that only verified users can access their accounts and associated data

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Edit or remove any family member’s information
• Export your data upon request
